  1. Great “State of the Word” speech Matt. These get better every year.

Thanks to the whole Automattic team that have helped make WordPress the best content management system out there and most importantly Free. Also I appreciate all the plugin developers around the world that make all these amazing plugins for Worpdress. I know that I wouldn’t be online as easily as I am now if it wasn’t for WordPress and all these plugins. I am sure lots of people would agree with me.

  2. Its great to see WordPress heading to develop the app platform more. I see this as supreme value for us to align ourselves with WordPress in our small business communities.

  3. What song is used in the 3.6 video? Love it!

  4. Feels pretty sweet to get name dropped 🙂

In case you were curious about the WordPress-powered app that Matt shows at the 29min mark, you can see more about it here: http://dma.org/Visit/Friends/ (also, the entire thing is WordPress, actually, not just the backend). It’s powered by a free plugin named BadgeOS: http://wordpress.org/plugins/badgeos/

  5. I didn’t get a chance to ask my question, but was wondering if there would be a new Community theme this year, I believe last year was year of the WordCamp and Meetup.

    1. Wasn’t for 2013, I’ll think about one for 2014.
